Controlled yarn feed and friction measurement.
Yarn feeds from the creel through the adjustable pretensioning arrangement and follows a nominal 360° contact wrap. The 4.3-inch touchscreen PLC/HMI presents test values and operating information. The main module measures yarn–metal friction; an optional yarn–yarn module provides a second measurement configuration.
After measurement, vacuum draws the tested yarn downward into the collection compartment. The front cover is transparent acrylic; the blue appearance comes from the lighting inside the compartment.
