UV Accelerated Weathering Tester
Compare changes in textiles, plastics and coatings under controlled UV, temperature and moisture cycles.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
UV exposure. Temperature. Moisture cycles.
Fluorescent UV lamps, condensation and water spray support method-based exposure for comparative material evaluation. Cycle steps, durations and temperatures are set for the selected test method.
Closed-loop UV irradiance control
UV sensor feedback automatically adjusts lamp power to help maintain the selected irradiance level. The instrument uses a 7-inch touchscreen PLC/HMI and Ethernet data output.
METHOD-BASED CONFIGURATION
Select the lamp for the exposure.
| UVA-340 Outdoor exposure | The main lamp choice for representing the short-wave UV region of sunlight. |
|---|---|
| UVB-313 UVB methods | For specified accelerated exposure methods requiring shorter-wavelength UVB radiation. |
| UVA-351 Behind window glass | For evaluating UV exposure from sunlight filtered through window glass. |
The lamp family, cycle and compatible irradiance measurement/calibration profile are selected together. Different lamp families are not mixed in one test arrangement.

APPLICATIONS
Textiles, plastics and coatings.
- Outdoor textiles and coated fabrics: colour and surface change.
- Polymers and plastic products: changes in appearance and performance.
- Paints, varnishes and exterior wood coatings: comparative durability assessment.
Colour, gloss and mechanical properties are measured after exposure using the relevant evaluation method.
